EVENTS

MISSION

The Valley Student Ministry is dedicated to community, love, growth and service. We have regular events designed to foster a community dedicated to one another. We seek to love each other and our neighbors the way that Jesus does. We spend time in the Word engaging the story of God and our place within the Mission of God. Finally, we express our community, love, and learning in the form of service to one another and to those around us. This begins with our homes, extends to our neighborhood, and goes beyond into the world.

ELEVATE CAMP @ Rochester University

June 21-29

Elevate is a summer camp at Rochester University  in Rochester Hills, MI. We encourage our students going into 6th-12th grades to attend. There are brilliant key note speakers, tons of praise and worship, ridiculous games, great food, and of course friends waiting to happen.

MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN YOUTH CAMP

Yearly Students from elementary through high school experience camp life out at MCYC. This is a high energy camp that is always both stimulating and formative for our students. We encourage all of our students to attend or work this camp in the summer time.

METROPOLITAN DETROIT YOUTH CHORUS

Many of our Students 14-18 participate yearly in MDYC. It is an a cappella chorus that sings sacred music with students all over the metro Detroit area. This is a great ministry to join, if you are interested in trying out to spend more time with God, learning music, and with our students.
